Becket

Becket arrived on January 12, 2009. He is a Thoroughbred gelding, standing 17 hands. He is said to be broke to ride, but has an injury to his ankle from putting it through a fence. He needs to gain some weight and heal before he is evaluated under saddle. We will continue to update his progress on this page.

Although Becket is quiet to work with on the ground, he appears to have had little riding experience, and will need to be worked with in order to make a good riding horse.

October 2009

Becket is a gentle giant. He loves to have his ears rubbed and, when offered a treat, will very politely take a bite.
